About Dr. Meredith Wells Lepley

Meredith Wells Lepley, PhD founded Workplace Surveys & Solutions in 2014 to marry 25 years of research and analytics experience with her passion for helping organizations achieve their best results.

Dr. Meredith is a workplace psychologist, published scholar, and senior-level researcher. Particularly noted as the pioneer of the research on pets in the workplace 20 years ago, her other published research has focused on topics such as flexibility, the multi-generational workforce, workspace personalization and worksite health promotion programs.

Her organizational research has been recognized by major media outlets in the U.S., England and Canada, including The Washington Post, The LA Times, The Boston Globe, U.S. News and World Report, National Public Radio, and Psychology Today.

Dr. Meredith’s decades of experience studying a topic deeply to find and communicate the story in the data in order to purposefully guide meaningful, lasting organizational change, is what differentiates Workplace Surveys & Solutions. Dr. Meredith is driven by using research to help organizations and their employees thrive.

Dr. Meredith is passing on her skillset and passion for analytics to students in her graduate-level organizational research course in the University of Southern California’s Master of Science in Applied Psychology Program. She literally teaches a course on organizational research, data analytics and compelling storytelling. After successfully completing her course and others in the program, many students go on to become organizational consultants.

Previously Dr. Meredith has served as the director of research and consulting at the University of Kentucky’s Institute for Workplace Innovation and as a professor of psychology at Eastern Kentucky University, where she was awarded the EKU National Alumni Association Award for Teaching Excellence and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Award.
